Managing Partner
and co-founder of the Asia-Pacific Leadership Development
Institute (APLDI), Lovisa Bergendal, has from her past decade’s
working experience in the learning and development field in
the Asia-Pacific region witnessed changes and improvements
made within organizations through enhancing leadership development.
Therefore, with strong belief in Leadership as the key to
the future of any organization, she established APLDI to continue
to study and record the results of leadership development
efforts.
Before establishing
APLDI, Lovisa held the position of Manager Leadership Development,
Ericsson University Region Asia-Pacific. Lovisa was a key
member of the global team behind the design of the program
called “Leadership Core Curriculum”, which has
become the mandatory core development program for Ericsson
managers worldwide. Lovisa has personally managed and conducted
this program throughout the Asia-Pacific region for the last
five years. In order to help the Chinese telecom market to
grow, she also customized the program and conducted it for
the executive management of significant Chinese telecom corporations.
Lovisa is an accredited user of a number of psychometric instruments
and development tools, such as Myers-Briggs Type Indicator
(MBTI), DiSC, PROFILOR (a 360 degree feedback tool) and is
a Blanchard certified Resource Trainer in Situational Leadership.
She currently plays an active role for Ericsson’s global
leadership development, as a core team member in a project
defining the changes in their future leadership development
strategies.
