Anna-Karin has lived
and worked in Asia for the past 10 years, covering China,
Malaysia, Hong Kong and Singapore in a human resources consulting
and training capacity. Her main focus has been on people and
organizational development. She strongly believes that the
key to success for any organization is the understanding of
how to motivate and lead people.
Anna-Karin has facilitated workshops in a number of areas,
but specializing in teamwork, leadership and management skills
development. Her extensive work experience in Asia has provided
her with a cultural understanding and sensitivity, which together
with her high level of flexibility, enthusiasm and interpersonal
skills, adds a professional and motivational aspect to her
facilitation of programs. She is credible in front of both
Asian and Western participants and has an engaging interpersonal
style.
Anna-Karin is an
accredited user of the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator as well
as DiSC. Anna-Karin is currently spending half of her time
doing human resources development projects for APLDI. She
spends the remaining part of her time working as Director,
Human Resources – Asia Region for APCO, a global consulting
company focusing on Investment, Public Affairs and Strategic
communications.
